Technology Transfer

Assystem, working with ESA-ESTEC, is engaged in policy moves to accelerate space technology exploitation in Europe and beyond. This project's objectives were:

• To identify best practice in Europe, the US and Russia on Space Technology exploitation;
• To identify the competitive advantage of Ukrainian Space Technology;
• To outline a market entry strategy; and test-bed implementation of this strategy.

The project facilitated links to previously implemented commercialisation initiatives and support restructuring and development of the Ukrainian Space Technology industry. Space exploitation project activities were delivered by Assystem in association with the European Space Agency (ESA). The team involved worked with the Space Agency of Ukraine to ensure a real-market approach to commercialisation, recognition and establishment of the appropriate environment for commercial success.
